Say yes in Tønder. Just five kilometres over the border.
Tønder is one of the places couples from abroad choose most often for their wedding in Denmark. You marry in the old county council chamber on Jomfrustien, opposite the town hall. I photograph your ceremony quietly and from the background, then your couple shoot in the old town, along the linden avenue in Møgeltønder or on the beach at Rømø.

What couples ask about Tønder
Can I book my date in Tønder by email?
No. You book only after approval from Familieretshuset, using the link in the letter.
Is a Saturday possible?
For couples from abroad, the municipality names Tuesdays and Thursdays. For any other day, ask the registry office directly.
