You marry at the town hall in Store Heddinge or at a place of your choice, including Stevns Lighthouse. I photograph your ceremony, the congratulations and then your couple shoot along Stevns Klint.

International couples apply to Familieretshuset, the Danish Agency of Family Law. Once the municipality has received the application, it sends you a link to book your date. The date is only fixed once the wedding office has confirmed it.
Venue
Stevns town hall, Rådhuspladsen 4, 4660 Store Heddinge, or a place of your choice that you name in the application. The municipality also marries couples at Stevns Lighthouse.
Ceremony days
Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10am to 2pm. On the first Saturday of the month from 10am to 2pm, and every Saturday from May to August, except in weeks 28 to 30 and on special Saturdays.
Witnesses
Two are required. You bring your own, except on Thursdays and the first Saturday of the month, when the municipality can provide them.
Costs
Free at the town hall. Outside the town hall DKK 800 (2026) plus travel costs at the state maximum rate, with an additional DKK 3,000 at Stevns Lighthouse. On top of that comes your application to Familieretshuset, DKK 2,100.
